Calvin Pouncy, 57, an employee with CCSD, was arrested Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2023, on charges involving attempted sexual misconduct with a minor, according to a release from CCSD Police. He has been employed by the district since 2018 and was last assigned to Green Valley High School until August 2022.
A Clark County School District employee has been accused of sexual misconduct with a minor, according to a release from the department.
Calvin Pouncy, 57, was arrested Tuesday and booked into Clark County Detention Center on charges related to attempted lewdness with a child under 16.
The arrest stems from an investigation dating back to August 2022, the release stated.
Pouncy has been employed by CCSD since November 2018 and was last assigned to Green Valley High School as a learning strategist.
He has been assigned to home since August 2022 and has not been on a CCSD campus since the investigation began, the report stated.
