The Centennial High football team posted a 1-17 record the past two seasons. In the past six days, the Bulldogs have won two games.
Vic Plotnikov passed for three touchdowns and rushed for another Friday night as the Bulldogs beat Palo Verde 26-20.
“It’s about establishing and creating a culture,” first-year coach DJ Campbell said. “It’s about bringing some discipline. They kids are embracing it. It’s something they wanted.”
Ty Hanley, Mason Garza and Logan Weimer had the receiving touchdowns for the Bulldogs. They won 41-21 last Saturday against King/Drew of Los Angeles.
