The Shaquille O’Neal Foundation has unveiled the entertainment lineup for The Event, the annual fundraiser taking place October 7 at MGM Grand Garden Arena presented by Pepsi Strong Together. This year’s performers will include former Strip resident artist John Legend, Dan & Shay, DJ Pee .Wee (aka Anderson .Paak, another former resident as part of Silk Sonic), Ray Romano and Joel McHale. The lively evening of music, comedy and more will benefit local and national Boys & Girls Clubs and Communities in Schools organizations and tickets start at $50, available at shaqfoundation.org. "We raised the bar last year, and the third Event promises to do the same,” O’Neal said in a statement. “I’m so grateful to our entertainers who are once again donating their time. I know they will create a night of incredible music and comedy in a true testament to the power of unity to make a difference in kids' lives.”

One of the most popular classic rock acts to perform regularly in Las Vegas in recent years is saying goodbye to the city. Foreigner will bring the Feels Like The Last Time Farewell Tour residency to the Venetian Theatre for 16 concerts running from March 22 through April 6, and wrapping up from October 25 through November 9, 2024. Tickets start at $49 and go on sale Friday, September 1 at Ticketmaster. The band consists of songwriter and guitarist Mick Jones, lead singer Kelly Hansen, bassist Jeff Pilson, keyboard player Michael Bluestein, guitarist Bruce Watson, drummer Chris Frazier and guitarist Luis Maldonado.
