Two people were killed in a three-vehicle crash that closed northbound U.S. Route 95 at Elkhorn Road, Nevada State Police said Saturday.
The crash occurred at 3:21 p.m., police said in an initial press release. An update confirmed that two people were killed, but no other information was given about them.
Traffic was diverted off U.S. 95, and eastbound and westbound ramps from the northern 215 Beltway were also closed.
An investigation is underway, police said.
