A victim of a traffic accident this month died today, according to a Metro Police news release.
Shyayn Bass, 22, died from her injuries today after being involved in a Dec. 2 evening crash, the release stated.
The collision occurred on Dean Martin Drive north of West Tompkins Avenue.
Ali Brandy Aponte, 50, the driver of the 2003 Honda Odyssey that collided with Bass’ 2017 Toyota Yaris, at the time allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested on DUI-related charges, the release stated.
Brandy Aponte was not injured in the crash, and his 26-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
