A person is in critical condition after being hit by a vehicle while she was rollerblading Wednesday, according to a Metro Police news release.
At about 5:47 p.m., the rollerblader was traveling west on Pebble Road, approaching the intersection with South Las Vegas Boulevard. Meanwhile a 2004 BMW 325ci was traveling north on Las Vegas, the release stated.
While the BMW had a green light, as the vehicle approached the intersection, the rollerblader entered the roadway against the traffic signal and into the path of the BMW, causing the vehicle to strike the rollerblader, knocking her to the ground, according to the release.
The rollerblader was transported to UMC Trauma for treatment, where she was in critical condition as of late Wednesday, the release stated.
