Beetlejuice” will open the 2023-2024 Broadway Las Vegas Series at the Smith Center.

If you’re like us, you might have been let down by the U2-MSG Sphere residency Super Bowl commercial. It was too short, and it didn’t have nearly enough Las Vegas. But like us, you can head to u2xsphere.com to watch the full four-minute video hyping up the next huge Las Vegas Strip residency show, slated to begin sometime this fall at the brand-new, super hi-tech, 17,500-seat venue under construction behind the Venetian. It doesn’t have more details about the concerts but it will likely excite U2 fans who are getting ready to make the trek to Vegas to take in this one-of-a-kind spectacle. In a release issue on Super Bowl Sunday, guitarist The Edge said: "The beauty of the Sphere is not only the ground-breaking technology that will make it so unique, with the world’s most advanced audio system, integrated into a structure which is designed with sound quality as a priority; it’s also the possibilities around immersive experience in real and imaginary landscapes. In short, it’s a canvas of an unparalleled scale and image resolution and a once-in-a-generation opportunity. We all thought about it and decided we’d be mad not to accept the invitation.” Fans can stay connected by registering at verifiedfan.livenation.com/u2.
