Keep Memory Alive has announced an incredible entertainment lineup for this year’s Power of Love Gala, set for February 18 at MGM Grand Garden Arena. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and recent Strat resident headliner Sammy Hagar will perform and serve as musical curator for the evening, welcoming performances and appearances from Paula Abdul, Alice Cooper, Kevin Cronin of REO Speedwagon, Nikki Glaser, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, John Mayer, Michael McDonald, Sam Moore of Sam & Dave, and Rick Springfield. David Blaine has extended his magical residency show “In Spades” at Resorts World Theatre. Beyond his previously announced March 10-11 shows, Blaine will be back on the Strip April 28-29, May 5-6 and June 2-3, with all performances set for 8 p.m. Tickets are available at axs.com.

Also tacking on an additional date this week is Madonna, who announced her Celebration Tour recently and will perform October 7 and 8 at T-Mobile Arena. Tickets for the later concert went on sale January 20.

If you thought winter was going to slow things down in Las Vegas, think again. There has been a massive amount of concert and entertainment event announcements in the last week, so let’s run ‘em down: alt-rock icons Jane’s Addiction takes the stage at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan on March 12; multifaceted musician Masego performs at Brooklyn Bowl at the Linq Promenade on March 12; the legendary Stevie Nicks will play T-Mobile Arena on March 18; producer, singer and songwriter Elderbrook plays Brooklyn Bowl on April 11; frequent Vegas comedians David Spade and Nikki Glaser are teaming for a new engagement at the Venetian Theatre that will continue throughout the year and begin April 28-29; The Straight Jokes, No Chaser Comedy Tour, featuring Mike Epps, Cedric The Entertainer, D.L. Hughley, Earthquake and DC Young Fly, touches down at MGM Grand Garden Arena on May 27; Kali Uchis hits the stage at the Chelsea on May 28; Seal’s 30th anniversary North American tour touches down at the Venetian Theatre June 2-3; James Taylor and His All-Star Band signed on for a five-night engagement at the Chelsea June 3-10; Nate Bargatze will bring the funny back to Encore Theater June 9-10 and November 10-11; KT Tunstall will perform at the Side Lawn at Sunset Station on June 17; Nickelback and Brantley Gilbert will rock T-Mobile Arena on July 15; indie rock favorites Beck and Phoenix will bring their new co-headlining tour to Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandalay Bay on August 12; country star Zach Bryan’s huge new North American tour will visit T-Mobile Arena on August 19; and Latin pop supergroup RBD will continue to celebrate its 20th anniversary with a tour stop at MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 14.

As previously reported here, “Freestyle Love Supreme” is closing early at the Summit Showroom at Venetian, wrapping up its run on January 29, but not before a few more special guest stars join the cast onstage. Recording artist, actor and writer Benjamin Earl Turner will participate on January 26, and Las Vegas’ own Mark Shunock (of Mondays Dark and virtually every major sporting event in the city) will perform on January 27. The Tyler Robinson Foundation, the nonprofit organization of Imagine Dragons dedicated to battling pediatric cancer, will hold its landmark 10th annual Rise Up Gala on October 6 at Resorts World. Always a huge event in Las Vegas, the gala promises to be bigger than ever this year with an exclusive acoustic performance by Imagine Dragons as well as other entertainment, cocktails and dinner, live and silent auctions and more. Comedian Mike E. Winfield, who won Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer prize during season 17 of “America’s Got Talent,” has taken over as guest host of “America’s Got Talent Presents Superstars Live” at the Luxor Theater and will stay onstage through February 12.
