A Las Vegas man is facing a murder charge in the shooting death of his roommate early Sunday morning, according to Metro Police.
Jose Oseguera, 28, was in a verbal altercation with another man in the 5900 block of East Samia Court, police said. During the altercation, Oseguera is suspected to have pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
Officers were dispatched about 2:53 p.m. to the northeast Las Vegas neighborhood, arriving to find the victim with an apparent gunshot wound lying in the street, police said.
Oseguera was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. The Clark County Coroner will later release the identity of the victim.
