Las Vegas police: Pedestrian struck by car dies at hospital

A pedestrian who was hit by a car while crossing a Las Vegas street last week died in the hospital, according to Metro Police.

The incident was reported about 6:50 p.m. Wednesday on Harmon Avenue, east of Koval Lane, police said.

The car was headed east on Harmon when the pedestrian, who was not in a crosswalk, entered into the path of the vehicle, police said.

The pedestrian, a 32-year-old Las Vegas man, was taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in critical condition, police said. He died Sunday, police said.

The driver, a 64-year-old Las Vegas man, was not injured, police said. He remained at the scene and did not show any signs of impairment, police said.
