Suspects arrested in pair of Las Vegas fatal shootings

Metro Police say they have arrested multiple suspects in a pair of westside Las Vegas deaths that took place in early September, they announced today in a news release.

Cameron Raye, 19, was among three suspects arrested in a Sept. 1 fatal shooting of a juvenile at an apartment complex in the 6500 block of West Charleston Boulevard.

Two other juveniles were also identified as suspects in the homicide.

The juveniles were booked into Clark County Juvenile Hall, and Raye was booked into Clark County Detention Center.

The suspects face multiple charges, including robbery, attempted murder and burglary with a deadly weapon.

Jonathan Smith, 18, was among four suspects arrested in a Sept. 9 fatal shooting in the 7800 block of Rainshower Drive. A male was found in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. Three other minors were also identified as suspects, one of whom was also a suspect in the Sept. 1 homicide.

The minors were booked into Juvenile Hall, and Smith was booked into Clark County Detention Center on multiple charges, including open murder with a deadly weapon and attempted robbery with a deadly weapon.
