A man was fatally shot early Saturday in a Las Vegas neighborhood, according to a Metro Police news release.
At about 3:19 a.m., officers responding to reports of a shooting found a person suffering from a gunshot wound in a neighborhood near East Washington Avenue and North Sandhill Road, police stated.
The victim was transported to UMC Trauma, where he later died.
Police stated the victim was shot while walking with a friend when a vehicle approached and open fire.
Metro has not released information on a possible suspect.
