Estaban Martinez and Jaxon Rios-Vargas had rushing touchdowns tonight for the Green Valley football team in a 21-14 victory against visiting Las Vegas.
It was the first win of the season in five tries for Green Valley, and came at the perfect time, coach Clay Mauro said. The Gators are 1-1 in league play.
“We looked at the schedule and told the kids that all of our goals are still in front of us,” Green Valley coach Clay Mauro said.
Quarterback Jack Thow hooked up with Trey Glasper for a scoring strike to help Green Valley open the game with 21 unanswered points.
