An overturned semi-truck was blocking the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Jones Boulevard this morning, according to Metro Police.
Police said they received a call about 8:20 a.m. of a crash involving a car and truck. One person was taken to University Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.
The westbound lanes at Laredo Street and Jones were also closed, police said.
Police asked people to avoid the area as an investigation was ongoing.
