Metro Police arrested a man Thursday whom they identified as a suspect in a Sept. 3 fatal shooting a few blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip, according to a news release.
Henry Sorto, 24, was identified as the suspect through the course of Metro’s investigation into the man’s death.
Police initially found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound Sept. 3 in the 2600 block of Sherwood Street. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sorto has been booked in Clark County Detention Center on a charge of open murder.
