Trey Glasper was a one-man show tonight for the Green Valley football team in a 43-27 victory against Durango.
The junior had two receiving touchdowns, two interceptions — one of which he returned for a touchdown — and a pair of 2-point conversions.
“He had a game. He did his best Jamar (impersonation),” coach Clay Mauro said, referring to the elder Glasper, who played for Green Valley in the late 1990s and is widely considered one of the program’s top all-time players.
Cris Dalina and Ben Parker had rushing touchdowns for the Gators, while Sean Mills caught one of Jack Thow’s three touchdown passes.
It was the second straight win for Green Valley, who is “starting to figure some things out,” Mauro said.
