Las Vegas police investigating fatal shooting at apartment complex

A person was fatally shot today at an apartment complex in the west Las Vegas Valley, according to Metro Police.

Metro announced the shooting about 1:45 p.m. in the 8300 block of West Charleston Boulevard. One person was taken to a nearby hospital and was dead, police said.

No additional details were immediately released. The incident was under investigation, police said.
