North Las Vegas Police: Man in his 70s found dead with gunshot wound

A man believed to be in his mid-70s was declared dead Sunday after a shooting in North Las Vegas, according to police.

The shooting was reported about 4:30 p.m. at a home in the 3900 block of West Alexander Road, police said.

Officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, and medics declared him dead at the scene, police said.

The man’s name was not released.

No arrests were made, but the shooting is believed to be in isolated incident, police said. They determined the shooting was the result of a dispute between family members, police said.
