A woman was killed in a shooting Wednesday in the Spring Valley area, according to a Metro Police news release.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 4300 block of South Jones Boulevard at about 4:21 p.m. to find a woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police stated. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
Jimmy Ramirez, 30, the woman’s boyfriend, was identified as the suspect, and the shooting occurred during an argument police stated. Ramirez was arrested and booked into Clark County Detention Center on a charge of open murder.
