Las Vegas medical firm CEO indicted over alleged misuse of federal funds

The CEO of a Las Vegas-based medical company was indicted by a federal grand jury today for allegedly misusing federal grant money intended for assisting those with medical needs.

David Ryan Linden, 35, received $735,000 in federal grant money early 2019 to be used for personnel at a health center represented by Silver State Health Services LLC. Later that year, Linden allegedly moved $340,000 to a separate LLC and used the money “for the benefit of others,” according to federal officials.

Linden’s trial is set for Aug. 27, and if convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.
