A 59-year-old woman was found dead after a fire Sunday at a senior living complex, according to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue officials.
Smoke was reported about 6:35 p.m. at Arthur McCants Manor in the 800 block of Eastern Avenue, officials said.
Emergency dispatchers advised everyone who could to evacuate the building, officials said.
Firefighters searched a second-floor apartment where the fire originated and extinguished a small blaze in the bathroom, officials said. The woman, whose name was not released, was found in the apartment, officials said.
The cause of the fire has not been determined, officials said.
