Lady Gaga performs in ‘Jazz & Piano’ at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas

She’s back! Lady Gaga will return to her acclaimed “Jazz & Piano” residency production at Dolby Live at Park MGM for eight performances running from June 19 through July 6. Members of the Little Monsters fan community will have access to a pre-sale on March 20-22, and MGM Reward members will get their shot March 21-22. Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 23 at Ticketmaster or gagavegas.com.

Here are more entertainment announcements from the past week: the icon Charo will perform April 5-6 at the South Point Showroom; TV personality and author Jonathan Van Ness performs a special one-night-only engagement at the Luxor Theater on April 20; rising Texas artist Bashfortheworld visits the House of Blues on May 5; British rockers Idles will play Brooklyn Bowl on May 15; Gin Blossoms will take the stage at Westgate International Theater on July 6; reggae favorite Ziggy Marley will perform at the Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on July 17; Mexican superstars Grupo Firme are back on the Strip at T-Mobile Arena on Sept. 7; world music group Celtic Thunder will perform at Reynolds Hall at the Smith Center on Sept. 11; classic rock outfit Kansas will play Reynolds Hall during its 50th anniversary tour on Sept. 29; and Hans Zimmer brings his epic performance to Resorts World Theatre on Sept. 29.

Mentalist Banachek is wrapping up his “Mind Games Live” run at the Strat Theater on March 30 after more than 600 performances at the north Strip property. The show originally opened on Aug. 4, 2021. “It is bittersweet to make the decision to put this show on an indefinite hiatus, but I am in the process of some exciting adventures and time is needed to pursue them,” Banachek said in a statement.

Cirque du Soleil has announced a new resident production will debut later this year at the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. Under co-creator and director Neil Dorward and Simon Painter, the show’s development team features “prominent entertainment industry luminaries, directors and designers, coupled with accomplished Native Hawaiian artists and scholars who are poised to weave a tapestry of Indigenous stories together with the world-class, captivating entertainment that is Cirque du Soleil,” according to a statement. This new collaboration is designed as a bridge between cultures as much as a performance, with Hawaiian traditions in the spotlight. Singer, host, DJ and producer Julian Miranda is launching his new show, “Julian Miranda’s World Greatest Singers,” at Vegas Stand Up and Rock at the OYO Hotel & Casino on April 4. Miranda has toured the world with artists including Enrique Iglesias, Taylor Dayne, Jessica Simpson and Rick James, and his new family-friendly residency show, taking the stage every Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m., will also feature many of his talented friends, some of whom have been fan favorites and top competitors on “American Idol” and “The Voice.” Tickets start at $20 and are available at vegasstandupandrock.com.
