From the school

We believe communication is essential for the school-home partnership to be effective. In addition to classroom newsletters that many of our teachers send out, we send home weekly school newsletters, and other bulletins as necessary. Our PTA also provides the community with monthly meetings, as well as a monthly newsletter. We have an open door policy, where families are able to come in and speak to staff members to share concerns, comments, or questions. Important information is posted on our Glen Taylor marquee so the community is aware of upcoming events. Progress reports, unsatisfactory notices, and attendance notices are sent out regularly. Teachers have email and voicemail accounts for parents to contact them with any concerns. Community meetings are held as needed to disseminate information and answer questions from families.
