During the Faith Lutheran volleyball team's banquet at the end of last season, Crusaders coach Amy Fisher announced Washinsky was voted to the 3A Southern League first team, as well as the all-state second team.

One weekend Lauren Straus is playing hockey in Arizona or Colorado. The next weekend it may be in New York or Alaska.
At the very least, Straus packs up her equipment and heads south to join the 16-and-under Lady Ducks, a competitive hockey team she plays for that’s based out of Anaheim, Calif. If the all-girls squad isn’t traveling out of state for games, then it’s practicing or playing against boys teams in California.

Christian Lopez's football coach estimated he stood 5 feet 8 inches tall. His position coach thought he was 5 feet 7 inches tall. Lopez himself revealed he actually stands 5 feet 5 inches tall.
All three can agree he weighs about 150 pounds. But no matter how much size he gives away to opposing players, Lopez doesn't let it become a disadvantage.

Lonnie Palelei was an offensive lineman for the Steelers, the first of three teams he played for during an eight-year NFL career. Evan Palelei was a toddler, fooling around with his father’s teammates that he referred to as his “uncles.” Some 15 years later, father is still watching son play — only now he does it with football pads instead of diapers.
