The televised Thursday night high school football game of the week will start an hour earlier this season.
Thursday Night Lights posted its 2015 schedule this week on Facebook, moving the start time to 7 p.m. Games will again appear on Cox channel 12.
The slate is highlighted by a pair of rivalry games: The Cleat Game on Sept. 3 between Chaparral and host Eldorado, and the Battle for Boulder Highway on Oct. 22 between Basic and host Foothill.
Other games of note include: Green Valley at Liberty on Oct. 1 in a preview of what could be the Sunrise Region championship game, and Centennial at Palo Verde on Sept. 10 in a game of Sunset powers.
Playoff games also will be televised, including the state semifinals Nov. 28 over Thanksgiving weekend and the Division I state championship game Dec. 5.
