High School Football Picks: Week 5

Eldorado High School Quarterback JaQuorrey Williams

The Cleat is the prize for the winner of the annual football game between Chaparral and Eldorado.

It is rivalry week on the high school football gridiron in Las Vegas.

On Thursday, Sierra Vista will host Desert Oasis in a battle of neighboring southwest Las Vegas schools.

Then on Friday, it’s two classic games that have been around for decades: Chaparral at Eldorado in the Cleat Game and Las Vegas at Rancho in the Bone Game.

The picks column went 16-2 last week and sits at 62-8 overall for the season — an impressive 89%.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
