We've reset the Play of the Day with fresh bankrolls and turned it into a yearly competition. Our three sports writers have re-started with $10,000 bankrolls to continue using on odds from the South Point.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Golden State Warriors over 222.5 points: $880 to win $800

It’s taken the entire season, but the posted total in games between these two teams may have finally reached a saturation point. In an effort to adjust to the four Thunder vs. Warriors games since February, oddsmakers have gone too low.

The first time these teams played, the total was set at 232.5. The 116-108 Warriors win was the first of three games to go under, and the only one that went over was aided by overtime.

But looking closer, two of the four landed on 224 and 226 — higher than tonight’s number. The true price is somewhere around there, meaning there’s value on taking the over here.

The game 1 total of 225 was never seriously threatened in a 108-102 Thunder victory, but both teams shot poorly. That was uncharacteristic. More field-goal attempts should fall tonight.

The over was a profitable bet at Oracle Arena all season, and if the totals stay short, it will turn that way again in this series.
