Coroner identifies man, 30, killed in Tuesday morning crash

The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified a 30-year-old man who died Tuesday in a single-vehicle accident on U.S. 95 as Jason Burleigh.

The accident happened shortly after midnight on a portion of the highway northwest of the Las Vegas Valley, the Nevada Highway Patrol reported.

Officials said a maroon Chevrolet Blazer was traveling north on U.S. 95 near mile marker 100, about eight miles north of the Durango Drive interchange, when it left the road and overturned.

Burleigh was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. No passengers were in the vehicle.

Troopers haven't determined what caused the Blazer to leave the highway. The accident remains under investigation.
