Fantasy sports clinic planned for Las Vegas

Las Vegas will become ground zero for the ever-expanding fantasy sports industry during one weekend this summer.

That’s at least the hope of Fantasy Sports Combine, a conference scheduled for July 17-19 at Wynn Las Vegas. Organizers announced the event, which promises attendees knowledge to improve their fantasy skills while mingling with famous sports personalities, last week.

“Fantasy Sports Combine was created for people who want to learn how to be more successful in their respective leagues ranging from daily to season-long,” said founder Bo Brownstein in a statement. “The content and speakers have been carefully curated to give players a championship edge as well as an unforgettable experience at the ultimate fantasy destination on the planet, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore.”

Brownstein is a former hedge-fund manager who decided to focus on his passion for sports and started Fantasy Sports Combine with investors he met in his previous career.

Brownstein assembled a long list of fantasy analysts, athletes and coaches to participate in the inaugural combine. The weekend will include lunch with former Super Bowl-winning coach Mike Ditka, a film session with former Super Bowl-winning coach Mike Shanahan and ping pong with retired baseball veteran Adam Dunn along with breakout sessions and panels.

Early-registration tickets start at $895 and are available through fantasysportscombine.com.
