A Nevada Highway Patrol trooper and two people were hospitalized with minor injuries after a crash Sunday afternoon.
The NHP trooper was in his car on the right shoulder of southbound U.S. 95 south of Eastern Avenue after working a crash in the area when a gray four-door sedan struck his vehicle from behind, NHP Trooper Chelsea Stuenkel said.
The NHP trooper and the two occupants of the sedan were transported to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
