Coroner IDs man shot, killed at east valley apartments

A man who was shot and killed at an east valley apartment complex Thursday has been identified as William Brown, 44, of Las Vegas.

Brown died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Clark County Coroner’s office

Police were called about 4:15 p.m. to the 4800 block of East Sahara Avenue, near South Nellis Boulevard.

The investigation indicated Brown was outside an apartment building when multiple gunshots were heard. He ran inside an apartment and collapsed.

Police found him suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he died.

His death was ruled a homicide, the coroner’s office said.
