A man who died Wednesday after he was hit by a car while crossing Charleston Boulevard near Nellis Boulevard has been identified as Eswin Lopez-Torrez, 43, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
Lopez-Torrez was not in a crosswalk when he was hit about 6:40 p.m. by an eastbound Toyota Camry, police said.
The 30-year-old man driving the car stopped and called 911, police said.
Lopez-Torrez was pronounced dead at the scene. He died of blunt-force injuries, according to the Coroner’s Office.
The driver was not injured, police said.
