A 47-year-old man was arrested late Thursday on a murder charge in connection with a bar fight last year that resulted in a man's death, according to Henderson Police.

Steven Phillip Dyer was taken into custody at his home and booked into the Henderson Detention Center in the death of 48-year-old fellow Henderson resident Scott Snyder, police said in a news release.

The two argued during a pool game Nov. 10 at the Gold Mine Tavern, located at 23 Water St., near Lake Mead Parkway, according to police.

Detectives allege Dyer punched Snyder in the head.

Snyder was taken to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center in critical condition, and he died from his injuries June 6, police said.

Dyer was arrested on a charge of battery with substantial bodily harm prior to Snyder's death, but the charge was amended after Snyder died, police said.
