Nevada answered with Butler's 1-yard scoring run with 1:12 in the half. Zuzo recovered his own onside kick, and then nailed a 40-yard field goal and the Wolf Pack trailed 17-10 at halftime.
The teams traded field goals in the third quarter, and a long UNR drive resulted in Tyler Stewart's 5-yard touchdown pass to Jarred Gipson to tie the game at 20 at the start of the fourth.
