A man has been arrested in a fatal shooting earlier this month in the parking lot of a strip club, according to Metro Police.

Kenneth Fletcher, 31, was arrested Wednesday and booked at the Clark County Detention Center, where he faces a count of open murder, according to arrest logs. He was being held without bail.

Fletcher was taken into custody without incident at an apartment in the 2900 block of North Rainbow Boulevard, police said.

The shooting happened about 5:20 a.m. June 19 at Larry’s Villa at 2401 West Bonanza Road, police said. Police said two men were involved in a confrontation before shots were fired.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Alxavier Lee Woods, 40, of Las Vegas. He was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died.
