Las Vegas Strip casino winnings drop 8.7 percent in August

After three consecutive months of gains, gambling win at Las Vegas Strip casinos dropped 8.7 percent in August. It was a poor month around the state with only the Boulder Strip and South Lake Tahoe posting increased winnings compared to the same month a year ago.
