It is unconscionable that airlines are refusing to issue cash refunds to customers who canceled prepaid flights due to the unforeseen and devastating economic and health crisis caused by the coronavirus.
Yet, the same airlines (and rental car agencies) are getting or seeking taxpayer bailouts — more of our money. By refusing to make cash refunds, the industry is unfairly taking advantage of prepay requirements.
