I recently I got my first delivery from Smith’s. A wonderful young couple put all my bags of food, which was many, on my patio table.
When all was delivered, I handed them a card which had the American flag on it, and inside I thanked them, told them how much my husband and I appreciated what they were doing, and included a tip of $12.
In reply, they said “You are the first people who have given us anything.” How shameful.
