I will support Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., if he becomes the Democratic Party nominee, and I will make as large a contribution to his campaign as I possibly can.
The caucus I attended Saturday made it clear that Sanders was the choice of the majority of the people attending.
Still, Sanders has declared himself to be a “democratic socialist,” and the Trump hate machine will use that declaration to convince a substantial number of people that Sanders is a communist, such that it will be nearly impossible for him to become our president.
Sanders could very well win the popular vote, but it is highly unlikely that he could win in the Electoral College. Those who supported Sanders will, in my opinion, cause the re-election of President Donald Trump and the destruction of our country.
