Frank Bruni’s May 20 column, “Biden’s confusion is preferable to Trump’s corruption,” had me shaking my head in disbelief.
He argues that Joe Biden, this confused man, would as president stock his Cabinet with qualified professionals. So is it the thought process that the “qualified professionals” would be pulling the strings for the cognitively deficient Biden, were he to win the election?
Would that make him a president who is not in power, but a puppet? And, by the way, whose finger is on the “red button”?
