With very few exceptions, Republicans oppose and Democrats are in favor of the $2.3 trillion infrastructure bill proposed by President Joe Biden.
This is just the beginning of the process, not the end, of course. Ideally, there would be discussions back and forth, give and take, and old-fashioned haggling until a final bill was reached that serves all of the people.
What’s confusing is it seems that all Republicans were in favor of former President Donald Trump’s tax reform that benefited the rich, but none publicly support the infrastructure bill that benefits us all.
