LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Crass leaders have GOP reins

During the State of the Union address, Republicans showed there true colors. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and others got upset with President Joe Biden when he said a few of them wanted to cut Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.

Greene interrupted Biden’s speech, calling him a liar. Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, was seen shaking his head with a bewildered look on his face. But video of him was unearthed talking to his constituents, saying he wanted to end the entitlement programs.

Also, watching the Twitter hearings, it was shown that Biden had nothing to do with silencing stories about his son’s laptop. To add insult to Republicans, it was noted that when Donald Trump was in the White House, numerous requests were made to remove tweets that he did not like. The whole thing blew up in Republicans’ faces.

Those who got suspended from Twitter have only themselves to blame, as they violated the company’s rules, which they had agreed to follow when they signed on for an account. The suspensions were not violations of their First Amendment rights.
