LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Recent speech raises questions

Former President Donald Trump, speaking at a Washington, D.C., conference Sept. 15, referring to his 2016 election victory, said:

“With Obama, we won an election that everyone said couldn’t be won.” His victory, however, was against Hillary Clinton, not Barack Obama. After a moment, he realized his mistake and corrected himself.

But in the same speech he said:

“We have a man (President Joe Biden) who is ... the worst president in the history of our country, who is cognitively impaired, in no condition to lead, and is now in charge of dealing with Russia and possible nuclear war. ... We would be in World War II.”

Maybe we should be asking some questions:

  • World War 2?
  • Exactly who is really cognitively impaired and in no condition to lead?
