It’s really a shame that some very rich conservative people play with the heads of average and respectable Republicans. Give this some thought: There are tens of thousands of Americans with offshore accounts that are held for one reason only — to avoid paying taxes.
These are not poor people; they are extremely wealthy individuals. They are scared to death as more and more banks overseas are starting to disclose their names. They just want to get away with not paying any taxes.
So, they get the rank and file to protest tax hikes against the rich, which is really not so, hoping to get rid of a Democratic-controlled Congress so they and they alone can continue to do what they want to do. They have been very successful in doing this the previous eight years.
I believe Democrats understand what’s happening, and it’s about time Republicans take back their party and get rid of these tax dodgers.
