I agree 100 percent with Brian Greenspun’s column of last Sunday headlined, “ ‘Tea parties’ resembled childish tantrums.”
This is one more example of how far out of touch many Republicans still are with the rest of the country. The fact that most of these Republicans are getting tax cuts under President Barack Obama’s policies makes this “tea party” sham even more ridiculous.
Most Republicans still don’t understand why they lost the 2008 election. The majority of Americans no longer embrace Republican ideology.
The Republican Party is flailing around in disarray. They are still in complete disbelief of President Obama’s incredible popularity. As for President Obama’s job performance thus far, I’ll give him a solid “A.”
