Please someone tell me why we are not trying to manage the oil that has gushed out into the Gulf of Mexico? We can’t get the oil to stop, that’s clear, and we look like idiots to the rest of the world while we dillydally.
A few people on the beach with plastic bags is nothing! Get the supertankers to pump up as much oil as possible before the horror of hurricane season spreads it everywhere on land, too! They’ve simply got to do something.
I am outraged that our great minds cannot see that this is obviously the only way to help fix this disaster. Burning it off hurts the atmosphere, and disbursements hurt the quality of the water and the life below.
What else is there? Get the oil out of the water! If anyone out there can send this message to the government, or start a movement to do so, please tell me how to help.
