Campaign ads a waste of our time, donors’ money

Political campaigns start way too early. We are bombarded by their signs and TV commercials constantly and for so long that I personally would not vote for anyone.

I was watching the news the other night, and at least six political ads came on — it felt like my head was going to explode.

There is not one person in the world who wants to see these ads, with the exception of politicians themselves. The whole system needs to be changed.

Let them have one day or week, before the election to speak to us, to laud themselves. Imagine the money they would not have to raise or waste on inane, false, lying, stupid, unwanted ads. Can we all try to do something about this political practice?

I feel like a zombie with no brain after all of this. Guess what? Presidential campaigns will start right after the new year — yippee.

The money raised in campaigns is a shame. Think of what could be done with all of it for charity. Speak up, people. This has got to stop.
