In response to Stan Broselow’s Feb. 2 letter to the editor, headlined “Semi-automatic weapons need more regulation”:
A few years back we had a ban on high-capacity magazines, but it did nothing to quell violence. As long as people want to kill other people, whether they have a gun does not matter.
What does matter is whether or not I am able to protect myself and my family. Gun laws do nothing more than frustrate law-abiding citizens; criminals do not abide by laws.
