Does anyone remember the phrase “government takeover” being used for the last two years? Does “government takeover” conjure thoughts of an evil empire controlling the life of average citizens? Lately we’ve been experiencing the leverage that government can exert.
Medicare will be run by corporations (for profit no doubt) if Rep. Paul Ryan gets his way. He will accomplish this on the backs of the elderly and poorest of us, who will suffer from huge government cutbacks.
Tax dollars are being taken from the working class and given to big oil companies that have turned huge profits. Potential voters in some states will need to adapt to a new set of rules when registering.
A few states passed laws that handcuff doctors who want to discuss abortion with their patients. Those doctors will have a script to follow about the do’s and don’ts pertaining to that conversation.
Are you people paying attention? This is the “small” government many of you wanted; be careful of what you wish for.
