Rich contribute greatly to society

I agree 100 percent with the letter writer who wrote that the working class made the wealthy rich richer (Dec. 5) but respectably disagree that those are bad guys.

I am a 79-year-old retiree and living a relatively comfortable twilight of my life with my beautiful wife and a little dog, Mimi, all due to those super-rich bad guys. They are the ones who provided me jobs, good and bad, during my working adult life and also provided me and my family an OK life, if not a completely satisfied one, along with the ability to offer my children a good education. Now I am getting a pension along with other benefits such as health care, all because of those super-rich people. I wonder, if not for those rich, what my twilight life would look like, so I feel we are indebted to all those rich people and have nothing else to say but “thank you.” I believe the majority of the super-rich, such as Steve Wynn and Sheldon Adelson, are decent, respectable people who contributed greatly to society, as opposed to the squalid politicians, such as Harry Reid or Barack Obama and their minions, who are leading this great nation toward a catastrophe of epic proportion.
